Stonebwoy has defended his godfather Samini for supporting the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the December 7 elections.
The singer shocked fans when he publicly declared his support for the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate ahead of the 2020 general elections.
He described Akufo-Addo as original, hardworking, competent, and someone who is known by the international community for his good governance in his music video titled ‘Kpoyaka’.
Samini praised Akufo-Addo’s government for making some significant projects in its first four years, including roads, free education, creation of jobs and more in the music video.
Reacting to backlash due to Samini’s endorsement, Stonebwoy stated that everyone loves money, suggesting that his godfather’s action was business.
Stonebwoy, in an interview on Okay FM, asked Ghanaians to respect the decisions of individuals in terms of their political affiliations.
