John Dumelo is a Ghanaian Actor, Producer and a Model.
He is the last boy in a family of three children. He was born on 3 February, 1984 in Accra, Ghana. He is currently 33 years old.
John Dumelo had his primary education at Christ the King International Schoolin Accra, Ghana.
John Dumelo also had his secondary education at Achimota Secondary School in Accra,
Ghana.
He studied at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology where he read Civil Engineering.
After his studies, he has since featured in television series such as “Sun City” and “About To Wed”
In 2008 he rose to fame after starring in the blockbuster movie “The King is Mine” where
he played the role of a King.
Since then, he has acted in over 80 movies with stars like Ramsey Noah, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Jackie Appiah & Majid Michel.
He won Joy FM’s Best Ghanaian Actor in 2009 & was nominated for Africa’s Most Promising Actor by AMMA in 2010.
John has won Africa’s Most Outstanding Actor in 2011 at the Afro Australian Movies and Music Awards in Dec 2011 in Australia.

He was nominated for Most Promising Actor & Best Actor in at the 6th and 7th Africa Movie Academy Awards respectively.On 1 April 2014, he became the first Ghanaian celebrity to hit a million likes on Facebook.
He is currently one of the richest & most influential actor in Ghana with an estimated net worth of $1 million.
