Empire Entertainment, organisers of the annual Ghana Meets Naija have officially launched the 2019 edition of the highly anticipated music event on the music calendar, ‘Ghana Meets Naija 2019.’
The launch came off on Friday at the Tang Palace Event Center at Roman Ridge, Accra.
Addressing the press and stakeholders at launch, the PRO for Empire Entertainment, Laillah Crystal Banda thanked patrons of the event for supporting and making the event a success since its inception. She hinted that this year’s celebration would be even bigger than previous years as they are keen on improving on the event every year.
Ms.Laillah Crystal Banda added that for this year, there will be a pre-party, an after party and a post party all of which is aimed at providing a satisfactory entertainment for patrons of this year’s edition.She noted that the programme is scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Center on 8th June 2019.
In depiction of a football tournament to mark AFCON 2019, Patapaa from Ghana is scheduled to face Teni from Nigeria. Medikal from Ghana was also announced to go against Wande Coal from Nigeria whiles the famous duo R2Bees from Ghana have been paired against Victor AD from Ghana.

The main Disk Jockey (DJ) for the night will be DJ Vyrusky from Ghana whiles DJ Putin from Ghana will go against DJ Controller from Nigeria.
There is also a special act from Barbados who is billed to perform as a surprise act for the night.
Other acts for night are Coco Trey, AK Songstress, Opanka, Young Rush, and Fameye with support from Sultan and Moses, J Debobie, Tulenkey, Quamina MP, Bless, Kelvin Boy, Ras Kuuku and Kofi Mole.
