28-year-old Christopher Gamble from Baltimore gas been arrested in connection with the shooting death of his 2-year-old daughter.
City police on Wednesday announced the arrest of Christopher Gamble.
His daughter, Charlee Gamble, was taken to a hospital, where she died after she was shot Sunday night at an apartment in northwest Baltimore.
On December 20, 2023, investigators transported Christopher Gamble to Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an incident occurred inside a home, believed to be the Hampshire House apartments on Park Heights Avenue.
“There is nothing more tragic in the world than the loss of a life of a child, especially that young,” Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said Monday afternoon. “This is something that should not have happened, and we have to make sure that any and everybody that could be will be held accountable. We should be looking at the adults around that child. There is no way on Earth that a 2-year-old baby should be gone from a gunshot wound suffered in a place full of people that love that young person.”
