Authorities are looking for Caleb Padgett, 21, for allegedly shooting his girlfriend on Monday – 27th February 2023.
The woman (name withheld) has since been rushed to the hospital after being shot on Buena Vista Street in DeBary.
Caleb Padgett who is currently on the run is wanted for aggravated battery with a firearm, armed robbery and tampering.
Detectives say the woman is expected to survive.
Deputies referred to it as an active domestic violence-related incident and asked people to avoid the area of Gemini Springs, U.S. 17-92 and Dirksen Drive.
