Columbus police are investigating a shooting death that occurred near the 2900 block of Norris Road early Sunday morning.
The victim, identified as 17-year-old Bryson Cochran, was found with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:23 am. Authorities have notified his family.
Reporters at the scene observed over 40 shell casings scattered near the intersection of Norris Road and Tip Top Drive.
While details remain scarce, authorities are actively investigating the incident.
