Barije Bia Duka

Barije Bia Duka, a 34-year-old hair and beauty stylist from Staten Island, has died by suicide, her family shared in a touching social media post.

Bia Duka took her own life, according to her cousin, who shared a post about how devastated this tragedy has left her to Duka’s 18.7k followers on Instagram.

“Life is full of struggles we don’t always see, and today, we lost someone who carried hers so quietly. My cousin was a beautiful, genuine soul who gave so much love to this world,” cousin Berat Islami said. “She was the kind of person who made everyone feel special, always putting others before herself. Her love was endless, her kindness unmatched. I only wish she could have seen herself the way we all did—so strong, so loved, and so irreplaceable.”

Islami described Duka as more than a cousin but a person who inspired him and continuously pushed him to be better than he ever thought he could be.

” She had this way of lifting me up no matter how low I felt, always knowing the right words to say or simply being there with her presence. Her belief in me was unshakable, and her encouragement gave me strength in ways she probably never even realized,” he continued.

Islami said he will carry Duka’s love forever and that so long as he’s alive he will miss her everyday. He added that his cousin was one of a kind and the world will never be the same without her.

The news shocked all who came upon it, with many expressing sadness for Bia’s three precious kids.

Many noted how much of an impact Duka had made on their lives.

Duka ran a stylists shop where she took care of hair, makeup, lashes and more for clients.

She was highly praised by clients who highlighted her professionalism, skill and talent in her field.

Bia Duka was married to the father of her three kids.

A recent loved up photo from the wedding adorns her Instagram page with many expressing how stunningly gorgeous she had looked.
