The general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has explained why he chose to demonstrate in his car while other members of the party walked.
In his view, protesting in his car would prevent overcrowding caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking to Adom FM, he said the love his supporters have for him is massive and he therefore he wanted to ensure the Covid-19 protocols are strictly adhered to.
Mr Nketia during the NDC’s ‘march for justice’ demonstration was reported to have stood in his car from the Accra mall where the protest started to Parliament where it ended.
