Sam George, Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, has explained why John Dramani Mahama failed to attend the party’s ‘march for justice’ protest.
Sam George told Citi FM that the former president was involved in other matters that required his attention.
His support behind the scenes won’t have made the demonstration successful, he added.
The NDC marched from the Accra Mall to Jubilee house and then finally to Parliament to present a petition.
The party explained that the main motive of the protest was to wake the President up from his slumber and fix the country.
