A woman was found shot and killed in New Albany Saturday, according to New Albany Police.
Around 5 a.m., police got a call to respond to 131 Village Drive. That’s where an apartment complex is.
When they got there, they said they found a woman dead with a gunshot wound.
She was identified as 25-year-old Kaitlyn Lee.
A man is in custody in relation to the case but has not yet been charged.
Police say there are no additional suspects and no threat to public safety.
They also said a preliminary investigation determined the suspect and victim knew each other and had a previous relationship.
The case remains under investigation.
