National Chairman of the opposition NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has said that his party will ensure going forward that they settle all their election grievances at the polling station.
According to Mr Ofosu Ampofo, his party will ensure that they will not need to resort to the Supreme Court for redress over election grievances.
The NDC went to the Supreme Court to challenge the outcome of the 2020 election which saw the EC declare President Akufo-Addo as validly elected.
The Party claimed it had won the election instead and went to the Apex Court to challenge the declaration of the EC, only to have their case dismissed as having no merit.
Following the verdict of the highest court of the land, most NDC affiliates have expressed disappointment in the Court’s verdict and the conduct of the trial itself which led to the verdict.
But speaking on Accra-based Ahotor FM, Chairman of the NDC, Ofosu Ampofo insisted that the 2020 Petition is the first and last time the NDC will ever Petition the court for redress relating to elections.
