We pray to God Before Lifting Any Corpse - Popular Pallbearers

Popular dancing pallbearers disclose they usually pray to God before lifting any corpse.

Speaking to Giovanni Caleb on TV3’s Showbiz 360, the leader explained they pray to God while at work but do not pray for people to die.

“Me I don’t believe in juju and stuff. I was brought up in a Godly way.

“We do pray before we carry the person because we don’t know what killed the person. In Ghana here we have bad eyes and stuff and they’re praying someone is standing behind the scene wanting for the coffin to fall and it’ll be a big disgrace. So we do pray to God” he stated.

He even used the opportunity to say thank you to his pastor, Rev Bannister Tayi of Transition home.

When Giovanni asked him if they pray for more business, he said, “We don’t pray for business. Definitely people will die”

He also added that his parents did not agree with him from the start. For friends, he said they would not even want to eat with them until they became this famous.

According to him, “we’re more than celebrities now”

The group who are professionally called Nana Otafrija Pall-Bearing services have become social media sensations especially because their images and videos are memes to caution people to stay home or die as a result of contracting the coronavirus and “dancing with them.”
