Valerie Obaze is the daughter of the sitting President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.

She is a beauty entrepreneur, mother, wife, and philanthropist.

In 2009, she married a Nigerian rich man called Stanley Obaze.

After marrying her husband in 2009, she relocated to Lagos, Nigeria where she lead the PR and brand management for various Nigerian brands such as Tiffany Amber, Chris Aire, Tebazile, Grey Velvet, HSE Gourmet, and Chrome Nightclub, among others, as a freelance PR consultant.


She is the founder/CEO at R&R Luxury – Luxury Natural Skincare and co-founder of Afristyle Lounge.

Founded 10 years ago, R&R Luxury was inspired by the birth of her first daughter and the need for her to give the newborn child the best natural ingredients for her skin.

Today, R&R currently boasts of over 20 products in seven different regions, with two standalone stores in Accra and Lagos alongside two factories in Ghana.

They have a new processing plant underway, securing the brand’s supply chain whilst creating employment and support to thousands of rural women in the rural North of Ghana.

Her beauty brand has been featured in a plethora of publications such as Elle magazine not only is she a savvy businesswoman.


Currently, she is 42 years old.


She had her tertiary education at the Coventry University where she obtained a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Culture, and Media.
