Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has cried out about the growing number of fake facebook pages bearing her name and has pleaded with her fans and followers to help her report all the fake accounts.
The obviously worried movie star who couldn’t help but express her emotions took to her official Facebook page to record a live video in which she made this plea on Sunday.
As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, Nikki Samonas said it would take the collective effort of her loyal fans on Facebook to help her get rid of all the fake pages by reporting them to Facebook so awareness can be made. “Only Nikki Sammonas cannot do this. It will take all of you to help. Help me report all these fake pages”, she cried out.
The actress again signaled that there are over 16 fake pages on Facebook pages bearing her name, a situation she described as worrying. She added that some managers of these fake Facebook pages are taking the opportunity to extort monies from some people in her name.
The actress said she is currently working on getting her official Facebook page verified and urged her fans to be cautious of who they interact with bearing her name on Facebook.
