- Samini asks the whereabouts of the v8 that went missing and was linked to John Dumelo
The trending societal issue that has got Ghanaians talking is the construction of a 450-seater chamber for legislators in the country.
A huge section of Ghanaians have voiced out their displeasure in the construction of the chamber considering the cost of $200 million involved, with suggestions that the supposed money can be channeled into other developmental projects in the country.
With a hashtag #DropThatChamber which has been started on social media, actor John Dumelo waded in on expressing his views on the misplaced priority in the legislative arm of government by saying “$200m can build 10 factories to employ 10,000 youth. We the youth are pleading with parliament. Yes, it’s necessary but pls don’t build the chamber now. #DropThatChamber”.
This tweet from actor John Dumelo got award-winning dancehall artiste, Samini also asking questions about the supposed v8 that got missing and was linked to John Dumelo some few years ago. In a tweet by the dancehall musician, he raised concerns about the whereabouts of the v8 vehicle and said the amount involved can also do a lot for his deprived hometown so Ghanaians deserve answers.
