I Never Say I Wanted To Quit Acting- Actor Rahim Banda

Award-winning Ghanaian actor, Rahim Banda has cleared the air on whether he said he wanted to quit acting and has said that he never wants to quit acting.

The young actor disclosed this in an interview with Accra based Hitz Fm on Thursday.

News broke some time ago that the young actor said he wanted to quit acting in the near future so he can focus on working on his dream of becoming a lawyer.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the actor said he was misquoted when by the media. “I was misquoted. I never said that”, he said.  According to him, he loves acting and will follow it, but will also focus on other ambitions since the movie industry isn’t doing too well currently. “The interest is still there but the industry is not one that you can rely on”, he added.

Rahim Banda who serves as an ambassador for the Free SHS scheme is scheduled to distribute exercise books to deprived Senior High Schools in the country. According to the actor, being a young ambassador for the program is a privilege for him to help the less-privileged in various Senior High School levels.
