Highlife legend, Abrantie Amakye Dede aka Iron Boy  paid a courtesy call on Hon. Catherine Abelema Afeku, Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture at her office to officially inform her of plans to celebrate his 45^th Anniversary in the Ghanaian Music Industry earlier today.

According to the Odo Da Baabi hitmaker, he felt it was right for him to visit the Minister, to officially inform her of his plans, since all Creative Arts Industry activities falls directly under her Ministry. He also revealed that, he intends to make this Anniversary a memorable one, considering the fact that, only few musicians have been able to achieve this feet in the Ghanaian Music Industry.

According to Hon. Catherine Abelema Afeku, she was very happy to hear about Amakye Dede’s anniversary plans, and revealed that, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture is going to collaborate with him and his team to make it reality.

She further encouraged the Highlife Legend to try as much as he can to interact and encourage the new crop of musicians within the industry to focus on their careers and compose good music that can last long.
