Kasoa Murderers Cannot Be Jailed For More Than 5 Years Because They Are Juveniles – Police Tells Deceased’s Family

The Central Regional Police Command has said that it is unlikely that the two teenage suspects in the infamous Kasoa murder incident are unlikely to be sentenced for more than 5 years, considering the fact that they are juveniles.

The statement from the police comes after calls by the family of the deceased, asking for life imprisonment for the suspects.

According to the Police, however, a juvenile may be sentenced to between 3 and 5 years depending on the discretion of the trial judge.

The family of the deceased have warned that they may be forced to take the law into their own hands if they do not get justice.
