The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in the East Bluff neighborhood near Republic Street and Wisconsin Avenue, according to the Peoria Police Department.

Incident Details

Peoria Police Chief Eric Echevarria confirmed that the shooting appears to be a domestic incident.

Although specific details about the circumstances remain limited, the police chief has acknowledged that the case is being actively investigated.
