A 32 year Arizona man identified as Ismael Ortega Hernandez is on the run for fatally shooting his wife in front of a child.
According to Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, Ismael Ortega Hernandez, escaped out the back door of a home on Padilla Road near Stanfield around 9 p.m. Monday after shooting his wife.
At about 9 p.m. a child called 911 and said that a family member had been shot by her husband and was dying, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
The 30-year-old woman, later identified as Julieta Marin Amador, died.
“This turd shot his wife in cold blood right in front of a child,” Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb said in a video update. “We are absolutely looking for him.”
Authorities deployed dogs and a helicopter to search for Hernandez. While the suspect has yet to be located, investigators found Hernandez’s cell phone in the area.

Ortega Hernandez is between 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a thin build and was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
