As we all know, Ghanaian Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy were banned from Ghana’s most prestigious music events, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards following their indecent behavior some two years ago.
However, reports circulating indicate that Charterhouse is on the verge of lifting the ban on arguably two of Ghana’s most loved music artists.
But Shatta Wale reacting to the pending lift of the VGMAs ban initiated by Charterhouse in a virtual conversation with DJ Reuben made it emphatic that without $169million negotiation, he’s forever out of the ‘bogus’ awards scheme.
In the voice of brutally honest Shatta Wale in the same conversation with DJ Rueben, he’s no longer interested wooden plaques from the camp of Charterhouse to Ghanaian artistes which comes with no money.
Therefore, going forward, serious business negotiations should be made and consensus agreed between Charterhouse and Ghanaian artistes with them (Shatta and Stonebwoy) serving as agents of change!!
