Stonebwoy says he invented Afro Dancehall
Celebrated dance hall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy has laid claims to the invention of a music genre, ‘Afrodancehall’.
The award-winning dance hall act and president of BHIM Nation voiced this out on his official twitter page.
Stonebwoy in his tweet established that he started afrodancehall in 2009 and has been doing the genre of music for 10 years now, an initiative he says has earned him global recognition and even won him the BET Award for Best International Act.
Some days ago, Highlife legend Gyedu Blay Ambuley threw shots at the dancehall act and said he should focus on doing songs that portray the Ghanaian culture, saying he doesn’t see those elements in Stonebwoy’s songs. He went further to say Stonebwoy should quit the genre of music.
As to whether this is a reply to the highlife legend, Stonebwoy in his reply stated;
