• It is my wish to be President – Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson has openly declared her intentions to run for the highest office of the land.

The actress made this revelation during a question and answer time on Twitter.

The actress who has been outspoken on issues concerning politics in one interview several weeks ago disclosed her intentions to pursue an academic program that should pave the way for her to enter diplomatic careers in the near future. However this new revelation from the star actress comes as a huge one.

On her official twitter page, the actress asked her fans to ask her any question they felt like asking which will earn them an honest reply. One fan asked her “what’s ur wildest wish?” the actress in a reply to the fan said, “To be president”.

The actress some years back led a campaign against the then National Democratic Congress (NDC) government and even a demonstration when the issue of Dumsor was frequent in the country.

She had the support of her celebrity friends who supported with the hashtag DumsorMustStop. The actress later disclosed that her actions against the then government led to different death threats from unknown people.
