• FDA CEO Under Investigations After Manasseh Azure Exposé

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has in a statement said it is investigating bribery allegation against its Chief Executive Officer, Delese Mimi Darko.

This comes after an investigative piece by ace journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni which disclosed that Mrs Mimi Darko through the head of Legal Affairs at the FDA, Cynthia Dapaah Ntow, demanded $100,000 from COA FS before approving of his products.

The FDA has put an injunction the the piece preventing it from being aired publicly for the time being; while it conducts its internal investigations.

“The CEO has reported the matter to the Board Chairman and the Administration is following its internal investigation and disciplinary processes,” the statement read.
