She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University, as well as a master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.

It is worth mentioning that she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Donalds served as controller and partner at Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Co., LLC (DGHM), a New York-based investment firm.
She was an active member of the Collier County Republican Executive Committee and the Republican Women’s Club of Naples.
Erika Donalds, served a term on the county school board from 2014 to 2018.
Since leaving the school board, Erika Donalds has scored a number of prominent appointments from top GOP officials in the state.
In 2017, she was selected to be a part of the Constitutional Revision Commission — which meets every 20 years to propose amendments to the state Constitution.
And in 2022, Erika Donalds was appointed by DeSantis to serve on the Florida Gulf Coast University board of trustees.

Who is Byron Donalds?
Mr. Donalds, 44, worked in finance before being elected to the Florida House in 2016 and then to the U.S. House in 2020.
He ran for Congress as a conservative ally of then-President Donald J. Trump, and was one of 147 Republicans who voted to reject the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Donalds was raised in Crown Heights by a single mother, who according to the bio on his congressional website, “dedicated her time [to] instilling in him that greatness requires sacrifice, which drives him as a devoted family man and United States Congressman.”
After graduating from Nazareth Regional High School in East Flatbush in 1996, Donalds had the first of two brushes with the law the following year when he was arrested and accused of distribution of marijuana. That charge was dismissed when Donalds agreed to enter a pre-trial diversion program.
Donalds later enrolled at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, but was arrested again and accused of bribery in connection with a scheme to defraud a bank.
