Kelvin Ekow Taylor has joined the conversation concerning the increasing calls for the legalization of the LGBTQ in Ghana.

In what he described as a disappointment, he has registered his resentment over the adamant gesture of the President to address the nation on the issue.

According to the outspoken broadcaster, it is apparent that the laws of the country forbid such practices and as such must be condemned by the highest authority.

He indicates that the laws should back the President to declare his position on the calls for the legalization of the practices.

This comment follows the increasing calls for the President to take a stand on the calls for legalization of the LGBTQI operations and other practices which are almost alien to our socio-cultural practices. As we speak now, one of the most contentious issues causing massive stir online is the debate over the LGBT in the country.

Ghanaians have been divided over whether or not it should be legalized.

Ghana is sitting on tenterhooks as the country has recorded contradicting views over the issue with some calling for it to legalize and others strongly opposing the idea.

Kelvin Taylor reacting to this development on his televised With All Due Respect Show last night, fumed over the failure of President Akuffo-Addo to make any public declaration about the disturbing issues.

Speaking further, he advises President Akuffo-Addo to take a bold step to reject and condemn the operations of such groups in Ghana. He argues, many Ghanaians are worried over the President’s longtime silence while stating it clearly that Ghanaians are not ready to embrace such practices.

See what he said below;

“This should be the most easiest thing for a President to do. I am also a Ghanaian like anybody and I keep saying it is against our laws. This is so easier for you to say it. If there is another conversation after that then you can say.”

“As we speak now, we just want the President to come out and reaffirm this because it is looking like we are almost in danger. And you know that, we will never accept that from you. Some people wonder why the President is still quite despite their offices been reopened and some rising interest groups defending them.”
