Desiree Fluellen (born on 14 May 1991) is an American news anchor and reporter, working for Fox 10 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Desiree Fluellen, formerly, Desiree Marie Wiley was born and raised in Lockport, New York, about 30 miles north of Buffalo.

Career

She started her television career at WKBW-TV in her hometown Buffalo, New York, where she worked as a traffic, entertainment, and general assignment reporter, as well as a fill-in anchor.

In 2016, she moved to Boston to become the weekend morning co-anchor anchor and a weekday reporter for for NBC Boston.

Desiree spent her time in Boston covering major local and national stories, including Nor’easter storms, political rallies at the State House, and court proceedings surrounding Aaron Hernandez.

She also covered the Boston Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins, New England Patriots, and Boston Ballet.

In 2018, Desiree moved to Nashville to join her husband, David Fluellen Jr., who was playing for the Tennessee Titans.

She was hired by WSMV-TV as a reporter and anchor. While anchoring one weekend morning, a mass shooting took place at a Waffle House.

This devastating national story rocked the community, and Desiree covered it extensively for her station.

It is an event she will never forget.
