A 6-month-old baby was forcibly taken by his by 22-year-old Daniel Reed, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
MPD said 6-month-old Demarrius Reed was taken by his father Daniel Reed around 7 a.m. on Tuesday from a home on North Meadowlake Drive.
According to MPD, the suspect took the baby from the 5400 block of N. Meadowlake Drive after the mother refused to let him see the child.
They said the father then kicked the door down and kidnapped the baby.
The infant is wearing a gray onesie with an eggs and bacon design, police said.
Daniel Reed is 5′ tall and 160 lbs., and was last seen wearing a light blue jacket and black pants.
