Cheryl Kidwell, a 32-year-old mother was killed when several vehicles crashed on Eastbound I-275 Tuesday night, Wilder police say.
Cheryl Kidwell of Brooksville, Kentucky, was driving a pickup when vehicles began to slow down due to heavy traffic on I-275 near the AA Highway ramp, a news release from the police department said.
According to police, multiple vehicles crashed when drivers were switching lanes on the Licking River bridge.
A semi involved in the collision turned over and slid on its side, the news release said.

Cheryl Kidwell was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on June 13, 1991 to the late Carl A. Kidwell and Jennifer(Elgin) White Leggett of Brooksville, KY.
Cheryl was one of a kind, and her smile would light up any room.
She had a kind heart, and she loved anyone that crossed her path.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her wife, Brooklyn Moore Kidwell, and her son, Braydon Insko, and Billy(Cecilia)Fite, whom she considered “dad”.
She is also survived by her siblings, David Kidwell, Austin(Jordan)Fite, Robert(Brooke)Sebastion, Jessica(John)King, Jordan(Caitlyn)Riggs, and Ricky and Wyatt Kidwell; her nieces, Jaeley Turner, Hayden King, Aubree Fite, Hensleigh King and Alivia Fite, and 5 step-nephews.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Jessica(Chad)Purdin, father-in-law, Michael Moore; brothers-in-law, Bryce Moore and Colton Moore; sister-in-law Maya Purdin; and step-sisters, Ashley Dailey and Bobbie Jo Dailey.
