Christina Watkins professional journey began in Missouri, where she worked as an anchor and reporter for KQ2 News in St. Joseph.
Following this, she held the role of Anchor/Reporter for Spectrum News in Charlotte, NC for three years.
During this period, she covered major events like Super Bowl 50 in California and the Pulse Nightclub Shooting in Orlando.
She also worked for WDSU News, WESH’s sister station in New Orleans.
She spent four years serving the community as the Weekday Anchor for WDSU News at Noon and 4 p.m.
