Drag racer Cali Nate, known for his appearances on Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws, passed away on Saturday night in Southwest Texas.
The news was confirmed by his girlfriend, Courtney Paulshock.
Paulshock, in a heartfelt Facebook post, described Nate as her “soul mate” and recounted the events leading to his death.
Nate was reportedly racing in Eagle Pass, a town located west of San Antonio, when his vehicle was involved in an accident.
Paulshock explained that Nate was racing in Eagle Pass, two hours west of San Antonio, when he wrecked his car.
His friends helped get him to the hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.
“He gets to see his mother and sister again, and I know that made him so happy,” his girlfriend wrote.
