A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Wilson, North Carolina. The Wilson Police Department is investigating the incident as a homicide.
At approximately 12:19 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire at 923 Washington Street.
Upon arrival, they found 43-year-old Bernard Terrance Blue of Wilson suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced Mr. Blue deceased at the scene.
Sergeant Eric McInerny, a spokesperson for the Wilson Police Department, confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
