Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has backed the jailing of actress Akuapem Poloo.
Commenting on the sentence described by many as “harsh”, the Assin Central lawmaker said it was not harsh enough.
“…She should have been given one year,” he stated on ‘The Seat’ show on his Net2 television.
He said the actress’ conduct was “very cheap”, stressing that “anyone who poses naked should be jailed.”
“As for me, if you are a celebrity, I don’t have a problem, but there should be some respect, some decorum. “No woman can talk about this disgusting thing that your fellow woman has done.
It is shameful,” he stated.
