A woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Clermont County that also left six others injured.

It happened at 2 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 32 and Herold Road in Batavia Township.

The initial investigation showed that a Chevrolet Sonic was stopped south on Herold Road at State Route 32.

The Chevrolet Sonic then entered the intersection and was struck by a Lincoln Navigator, who was heading east on State Route 32.

After the initial crash, the Sonic then struck an Infiniti QX60 that was stopped northbound on Herold Road before coming to a rest.

The driver of the Sonic was treated at the scene with minor injuries.

A passenger in the Sonic, 51-year-old Tassie Sherman, suffered fatal injuries from the crash and was declared deceased at Clermont Mercy Hospital.

A third passenger in the Sonic suffered serious injuries and was taken to UC Medical Center.

The driver of the Navigator was also taken to UC Medical Center with minor injuries. A passenger in the Navigator was also taken to UC Medical Center with minor injuries.

Both the driver of the Infinity and a passenger were taken to Bethesda North Hospital with minor injuries.
