Suspended former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho has dared his party to suspend him.
According to the tough speaking Koku Anyidonho, the party is bluffing as nobody can suspend him.
Speaking on Okay FM, he disclosed that the NDC is bluffing and cannot suspend him as he has not done anything to warrant any suspension.
“Nothing has happened to me in the NDC . . . I have not received any letter of suspension; I am saying that they are bluffing . . . I am saying that the NDC belongs to all of us. As I speak to you today, let me state equivocally that nobody can push me out of the NDC. Let anybody dare to push me out of the NDC and we will see what will happen…”.
Two members of the party, Eric Adjei, the Bono Deputy Regional Communication Officer, and Mr. Mobarak Abdul-Karim, Oti Regional Communication Officer petitioned the party against the conduct of Koku Anyidoho.
The petition subsequently led to his suspension from the party.
A statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Mr. Johnson Asiedu, says the suspension of Koku Anyidoho takes immediate effect.
“That with immediate effect, your membership of the NDC is suspended,” the statement reads in parts.
Mr. Anyidoho has also been referred to the party’s Disciplinary Committee for further actions to be taken against him.
