President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has encouraged boxer Isaac Dogboe not to allow his defeat weigh him down.
Dogboe lost his world WBO Super Bantamweight title Saturday night in a fight with Mexican boxer Emanuel Navarette.
His loss was by a unanimous decision from judges by 115-113, 116-112 in favour of the Mexican boxer.
This is Isaac Dogboe’s first loss in his boxing career.
In a tweet Sunday, President Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in Isaac Dogboe and encouraged him not to give up.
“Better luck next time to the Royal Storm, Isaac Dogboe. I am confident you’ll bounce back even stronger. Keep your head up,” the President said..
