WWE superstar Kofi Kingston has finally arrived in Ghana for his historic visit after winning the Championship.

He was welcomed at the Kotoka International Airport by officials of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, members of the Year of Return Steering Committee, family and friends including his mother and younger brother.

He engaged with the media at a ‘meet and greet’ session held at the offices of MultiChoice Ghana at Abelemkpe, Accra-Ghana.

Real name Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah, he outlined the need and importance in visiting his homeland for the first time in 26 years, while emphasizing the schedule of activities the next four (4) days.

This move is also to encourage black people abroad to visit and live in Ghana.

As part of his visit, he will pay a courtesy call on the president H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

He will also visit the Christianborg Castle, Lake Bosumtwe, Bonwire, and many other places.

This is the first time since 1993 that Kofi has been in Ghana and he’ll be here for four days.
