Who is Dante Marvin?
Dante Marvin is a 13 year old schoolboy who was born with brittle bone disease , and the condition means even something as simple as a sneeze can cause a bone to break.
But the youngster refuses to let anything stop him from living life to the full, and he encourages others to do the same.
He has spent most of his young life in and out of hospital for treatment, including painful rod replacement surgery in his legs.
In 2019, Dante was awarded a Child of Courage award at The Pride of Britain awards.
His moto of “there are no disabilities, only abilities” took him to the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight where he wowed the judges with his act. In the piece, Dante joked about he gets to skip the queues when he goes to Disneyland.
He regularly attends functions to talk about the work the charity does, and has helped it raise thousands of pounds.
Dante also visits other seriously ill and disabled children in hospital, not only bringing light and laughter to the wards, but also identifying children who could benefit from Variety’s support and petitions the charity on their behalf for equipment.
