Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady, has challenged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to show Ghanaians the schools they have moved from under trees to classrooms.
Afia Pokuaa, who has been infuriated about the contributions been made for the National Cathedral, has initiated a campaign to move schools under trees into classrooms.
To her, issues like these are supposed to be at the forefront of discussions and people need to
rise and fight to ensure that they are addressed.
“These are the issues that Ghanaians need to push our leaders to do so that schools under trees will be a thing of the past. NDC told us that they have moved schools under trees to
classrooms but in every village I go to, I see schools under trees.
We sit in Accra and say what we like forgetting that Accra is not the only place in Ghana. That
is why we need to discuss these things today,” she said.
Meanwhile, Vim lady has kicked against donations been solicited to build a National Cathedral and has called on wellmeaning Ghanaians to rather contribute towards addressing pressing social issues.
