Where are the Turpin parents now?

The case involving ‘’the turpin parents’’, David Allen Turpin and Louise Anna Turpin have been described by District Attorney Mike Hestrin as one of the worst and most aggravated cases of child abuse he has ever experienced. 

The turpin parents, tortured their thirteen children, depriving them of sleep, imprisoning them, and many other horrific acts. 

Where are the Turpin parents now?

The jurors in the trial of David and Louise Turpin sentenced them to 25 years to life imprisonment in April 2019.

Their charges, according to the New York Post, included“twelve counts of torture and false imprisonment, as well as nine counts of child abuse and seven counts of cruelty to a dependent adult.” 

On top of this, David Turpin is also being prosecuted for falsely attempting to obtain a homeschooling license.

The  Turpin  parents are currently in prison, although one of their children has forgiven their parents for everything that happened. 

During their trial, they requested that the court assign them to a prison close to them so that they can visit them regularly.

For some of the kids, visiting may not be an option. 

A CNN report states that Jeff Moore, the attorney for Louise Turpin, reports that 10 of the children have been served with restraining orders against their parents for 10 years.

“I’m sorry for everything I’ve done to hurt my children,” Louise Turpin said when she addressed the court, according to CNN. “I love them more than they could ever imagine.” 

David Turpin also made the following remarks: “I thank God for all of my children.”

He also said that he had good intentions when homeschooling and disciplining his kids.

How old are the children and where are they now?

As of the time when the children were first found by authorities, they ranged in age from two to 29 years old.

For the moment, it is unclear how old the children are since not much information has been released about the children so far.
