We are not as close as we used to be – Funny Face on friendship with Adebayor

Funny Face says his good friendship with Adebayor has not been fully restored despite making peace with the footballer.

According to the Ghanaian, he no longer has that close relationship he used to have with the Togolese footballer.

The friendship between the two hit the rocks after Funny Face was engaged in a heated banter with fellow actor, Lilwin.

Adebayor had warned Funny Face several times to desist from engaging Lil Win but his friend failed to pay heed to his advice.

The footballer then decided to cut off the Ghanaian actor and also unfollow him on social media.

In an interview on Hitz FM, the comediain admitted that the friendship collapsed due to his continuous waywardness.

“I go fool so yawa pai me so it’s not like first. It’s not going well…What will you do if you keep fooling and people insult you and him in addition every day? They tell you to stop but you wouldn’t”, he said.

Funny Face has been a beneficiary of the footballer’s benevolence receiving gifts including a Range Rover and a Porche car.
