Elena Kiyashko, a Ukrainian architect and screenwriter, has been Zelensky’s wife for 13 years.
They attended the same high school, but did not meet until much later when Zelenska, 44, was studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Kryvyi Rih National University.
She also worked as a writer for the Kvartal 95 comedy group.
The couple has two children, a daughter Aleksandra, 17, born in July 2004 and a son – Kyryl, 9 – who was born in January 2013.
