Excerpt from the much-awaited explosive investigative documentary has exposed embattled Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi, laying out a plan to some Anas ‘investors’ on how they can use money to secure big contracts and eventually rule Ghana.
“You can start with something small in your own discretion, then when you get the contract; the big big contract, we can go back and give them more money, then we will take over the whole country,” Mr. Nyantakyi told the ‘investors’ in the video released by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
With barely two hours to the premiering of the #Number12 documentary, Anas has been releasing excerpts of the documentary which is the culmination of a two-year investigative work by Tiger Eye PI in collaboration with the BBC.
Mr. Nyantakyi who was arrested on May 22, has since been cautioned and released on bail pending investigations into a possible case of defrauding by false pretenses following a complaint to the Police CID by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Kwesi Nyantakyi is said to have been captured in the investigative piece using the President’s name, the Vice President’s name and names of other state officials to induce potential investors to part way with some sums of money.
The President, according to deputy Chief of Staff Abu Jinapor, is a satisfied and convinced that there is enough evidence on the face of the matter to have the GFA boss investigated for defrauding by false pretenses.
