Charterhouse Ghana, organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards/ VGMA – Ghana’s most prestigious and biggest music event – has announced details of it’s annual event.
Details about this year’s event [VGMA 23 ] include dates, times, venue, ticket prices, performers, and more.
The event which happens once every year is held with the aim of recognizing and rewarding talents, promoting Ghanaian music, and providing entertainment to music lovers and some the best performances on stage by celebrities.

Date
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which is held annually, will this year be taking place on the 6th and 7th May 2022.
The first day of the awards ceremony scheduled for Friday 6th May 2022 is categorized as an industry awards ceremony.
The second day, 7th May 2022, is the general award ceremony for the public.
Time
Taking place on Friday 6th May 2022 and Saturday 7th May 2022, the event begins at 7pm on both days.
Each day begins with a red carpet event before the main awards ceremony.
Venue
The Grand Arena (Conference Centre) has been selected as the official venue for the 23rd VGMA.
Tickets
The cost of tickets for the VGMA 23 industry awards day on 6th May 2022 is 200 cedis.
The price for standard tickets on the main day, 7th May 2022, is 300 cedis and 500 cedis for the premium seats.

Ticket sales are also available at the Nallem Stores-Accra Mall, the X-Men and the Chaterhouse.
Artistes Performing
VGMA 23 will feature top-notch performances from some of Ghana’s biggest musical acts.
The performance for the VGMA 2022 includes that of Sarkodie, Kidi, Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, Fameye, Mr Drew, Camidoh, D Black, and more.
Performances from the gospel music fraternity would include that of Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Obaapa Christy, Ohemaa Mercy, Celestine Donkor, Joyce Blessing, Gifty Osei and more.

For those who will be watching on TV, VGMA 23 will only be broadcast on TV3.
