Uganda’s Prime Minister, Robina Nabbanja, has sparked reactions on the internet after she addressed a virtual global summit from the roadside.
She was on her way to inspect a government project when she made a stop-over at the road to address delegates during this year’s Global Disability Summit on Friday.
In some photos and video Nabbanja shared on Twitter, two office flagpoles were mounted just behind her, with one hand-held by an aide, as her entourage parked on the dirt road.
She could also be seen with a desk and two laptops.
The PM wrote alongside the photos of her; “On the sidelines of the Parish Development Model Pre-Launch sessions in Tororo
“I addressed the virtual Global Disability Summit & stated Uganda’s commitment to the cause of people with disabilities.”
