A man identified as Tyshem Daquan Sharpe has been shot dead and three others are injured following a shooting in a Kings Mountain neighborhood early Saturday morning, officials said.
At around 5:00 am, police responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Waco Road and North Cansler Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Fatality Confirmed
Later that day, authorities confirmed the passing of one of the victims, 30-year-old Tyshem Daquan Sharpe, succumbing to his injuries.
Two other individuals, Rodney Edward Stevens Jr. and Andre Lashawn Littlejohn, both 30, remain in critical condition.
A fourth victim, Nayoka Iteke Burris, sustained minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital.
Investigation Ongoing
The Kings Mountain Police Department is actively investigating the shooting and has yet to identify any suspects.
They are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
