  • Natalie Fort has threatened a court action against the perpetuators of the story and has asked people to disregard the story.

Television newscaster with TV3, Natalie Fort has debunked news about her pregnancy and has asked the general public to disregard the story.

She made this claim in an official press release which she put out early on Wednesday.

News went viral some few days ago on various news websites that the presenter is pregnant and is alleged to have been impregnated by 4 high profile personalities including a politician, whi is refusing to take responsibility. It went further to say that she took a year leave without pay from her place of work in order to hide the pregnancy from the public considering the shame and stigma it would bring to her.

In her press release sited by ghlinks.com.gh, the television presenter described the story as amusing and defamatory, saying her year’s unpaid leave from work was to focus on her education abroad so she can take on more challenging tasks in her line of duty and had nothing to do with the supposed pregnancy rumors.

She described the journalism style of the supposed media houses that reported the story as unprofessional and quick to judge the modern day woman and link her with sexual misconducts and affairs with married men. The news anchor also stated emphatically that she has a strong moral upbringing from a family with values and as such doesn’t associate herself in such immoral acts as described of her.

Natalie threatened a court action against these perpetuators of what she described as false news and asked the public to discontinue linking Nana Aba Anamoah, Alfred Ocansey, Ochere, Grant, Ofori Atta and other names to these reports.
