Member for the 2nd respondent’s legal team in the on-going petition case, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B has stated that lead counsel for the petitioner, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is relying on his past glories in court.

Nana B made this statement in an interview with Accra-based Okay Fm.

According to Nana B who doubles as the national youth organizer of the NPP, Tsatsu Tsikata has inked himself as a good lawyer in the nation’s law books and as such, feels so comfortable with that assertion and thinks he knows the law more than anyone else.

He added that Tsikata gives the impression of knowing the law more than even the judges in the courtroom, a reason for his long speeches in court which are mostly unnecessary.

“One thing that I think Mr Tsikata is good at is to rely on his past glory . . . he is having a certain feeling that the judges on the petition are not his class in terms of age or he was called to the bar before all of them and even taught some of them in class, and so he is portraying some arrogance and disrespect to the judges.

If you have noticed, Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata in his argument in court raises his shoulders in a manner that shows arrogance and disrespect to the judges.

He speaks arrogantly and be dragging issues with the judges. This is not a good thing”, he said.
