In an instagram post sited by ghlinks.com.gh, the rapper thanked God for his life, as it could have ended badly for him.

According to reports gathered by ghlinks.com.gh, the where we dey go hit maker was en route to Accra from Takoradi when the unfortunate incident occurred. He was there as a speaker at the Western Music Awards artiste and industry players seminar.

Trig, as he is also known called for broken trucks to be tolled away from the roads, giving a clear indication in his post that a broken truck left in the middle of the road was the cause of the accident.

Below is a press release from the management of Trigmatic

For the sake of clarity in the reportage of bloggers, concerned fans and the media in general, here are a few details of Trigmatic’s unfortunate accident earlier today:

– The accident took place around 6.30am on Sunday 17th March 2019.

– Trigmatic was on his way back to Accra from a seminar in Takoradi, where he gave a talk on Artist & Media Relations as part of the RTC Western Music Awards.

– Trigmatic was not driving and the car did not belong to him. It was a rented vehicle with an assigned driver who also came out uninjured.

– The accident happened on the Cape Coast – Accra road ( Salt pond )and was specifically caused by a articulator truck parked on the road with no warning signs such as a reflective triangle, hazard lights or in our unfortunate case tree branches of any kind. The driver was caught unawares and drove straight into the truck.

– The truck hadn’t broken down. Just a driver who carelessly parked the truck on a major road specifically down a slope.

– No one was hurt or injured. Trigmatic is back in Accra and healthy.

We thank all well wishers for their prayers and support. Lets continue to thank God for his grace and Trigmatic’s life, whiles pushing for safer roads and driving in our country. Trig’s My Life tour continues in Kumasi on the 22nd & Takoradi in April. Look forward to new music & an upcoming album mid-year.
