5. Baba Iddrisu (RCD Mallorca- Spanish La Liga)

Baba Iddrisu has been a main feature for Mallorca this season. The Spanish club has 3 Ghanaian players on its roster but there is no doubt Baba Iddrisu has caught the eye. The tough tackling Defensive Midfielder has brought much needed stability to the Marlloca midfield and produced some out marauding performances with his exploits earning him a call up to the National team.

4. Andre Ayew (Swansea City -English Championship)

The Black Stars Captain is a shocker on this list as he has turned back the clock to produce outstanding performances for Swansea City this season. Ayew has scored 13 goals for the Welsh team this season but what has been very commendable in his game is his exemplary leadership qualities that got him named as the deputy captain for the Swans earlier in the season.

3. Mohammed Salisu (Real Valladolid- Spanish La Liga)

The 20 year old, Mohammed Salisu is one of the most spoken about names in the La Liga this season. 2. Thomas Partey (Atlético Madrid-Spanish La Liga)

Thomas Teye Partey has seen perhaps his best season in the red and white of Atlético Madrid in terms of minutes played.

The Ghanaian international has received so much praise from Atleti fans and opponent fans also for his outstanding performances this season, notably his exploits in the 1st leg of the Madrid derby and in the famous victory in the UCL round of 16 tie away at Liverpool.

He is at the centre of a transfer tussle with his lingering contract issues with Atlético Madrid.

1. Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace- English Premiership)

Jordan Pierre Ayew has without doubt been the best Ghanaian player in Europe this season. The palace striker is enjoying a very good season at the Selhurst  park, coming in clutch for Crystal Palace and contributing to their brilliant campaign. His goals away at Arsenal and Manchester United earned palace 3 points on the road against two of the premier league elite but his brilliant solo effort in the home tie against West Ham United stands out as one of the best goals of the season. With 10 goals already this season, Jordan is surely paying back the £5m investment palace made in him last summer.
